Andy

Director of Infrastructure & Logistics

While not officially classified as a gardener, Andy is responsible for many of the projects that make Firefly Ridge Homestead function.

His duties include mowing, building garden infrastructure, maintaining vehicles, hauling supplies, moving heavy objects, and assisting with homestead projects that somehow always seem to require power tools.

  • Building whatever project is needed next
  • Insisting everyone helps as a "learning opportunity"
  • Asking why things are being done a certain way
  • Providing photography and video assistance when available

  • Being the homestead's biggest supporter and encourager

Additional responsibilities include serving as Chief Taste Testing Officer. No recipe, preserved food, freeze-dried experiment, or garden harvest is considered officially approved until it has passed quality control inspection.
